0.0.15 - Moving Forward


While we work on the new features, we invite you to play around with version 0.0.15. Before introducing all the new changes we needed a good base for it, hence there were a lot of "behind the scenes" changes in this version, mainly in the logic of the combat and all the things resulting from it. 

Features

  • Curse of Fatigue - starting from round 6, all units in combat will take more damage. This is done so that exceptionally long fights won't last as long

Changes

  • Storm and Shocked now change their duration in the turn of the applier (assuming it is alive)
  • Abilities' cooldowns go down for all units at once at the end of the round or combat
  • Outdated versions, starting from this one, will use offline localization instead of an online one. This is done to ensure that as we go along and change things, the old versions are still playable, and localization is maintained on the new ones

Bugfixes

  • A lot of blockers resulting from the dying unit being a target of an attack or ability have been fixed
  • Damage and stats now calculate correctly with rounding and modifiers
  • Single effects (fortified, poisoned) now behave correctly when applying several instances
  • The power of effects applied by a unit not in its turn is now correctly calculated
  • Fixed modifiers to experience and gold from weapons not changing the incoming XP or gold
  • Music and SFX run more smoothly and respond correctly to changes in settings
  • Critical effects no longer overwrite other damage modifiers
  • Fixed Wind Staff bonus (+1 buff duration) not working
  • Character window in combat no longer flashes at the beginning of each turn or appears under the ability effects
  • Fixed a bug where you can go in debt in the shop
